The Scottish SPCA reported today that the deer in Renfrew was released back into the wild after one of their ‘resourceful’ animal rescue officers, Janan Toraman, managed to use a jack in her van to bend the fence’s bar and free the animal.

Janan Toraman, the officer who freed the deer said: “I managed to release the deer using my van jack to bend the bars on the fence.

“She took a few minutes to realise her legs in fact still worked fine and she bounded out and away as I stood back.

“It got dark about 10 minutes later so she was one lucky deer!”
