Biologists probe secrets of the sea

An EXPLORATION of the seas around Orkney will start next month as scientists look to confirm the presence of some of Scotland’s most important marine wildlife features.

The team of marine biologists from Heriot-Watt University and Scottish Natural Heritage will spend eight days surveying Eynhallow, Wyre, Rousay, Gairsay and Shapinsay Sounds.
