Environment group on the right track

AN environmental charity has announced its annual programme of activities which begins this month with a family-friendly workshop learning how to track wildlife.

The Woodland Tracks and Trails session, run by the Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust, is designed to equip participants with the skills of a naturalist and be able to distinguish between different animal tracks.

Booking is required for the upcoming event which is being held on Corstorphine Hill from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, January 22.

Other activities taking place in early 2011 include basket weaving, a lesson on woodland birds, survival skills and woodland crafts.

The Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust is an environmental charity which works to enhance the local environment, improving the quality of life for those living and working in the area.
