Environment awards event

A SERIES of firms from the Lothians have won awards at an environmental ceremony.

Edinburgh's Vegware, which makes compostable food packaging, was Best Micro Business at the Business for the Environment of Scotland awards.

Aquamarine Power, also Capital-based, was commended for its near-shore wave power device. West Lothian firm Mitsubishi Electric scooped the Product Award, while EAE, from Midlothian, won the best management title.
