Emma Bunton's live TV engagement

Former Spice Girl and Dancing on Ice judge Emma Bunton last night announced her engagement to long-term boyfriend Jade Jones live on the ITV skating show.

Bunton, who is expecting her second child, declared: "I'm a very happy lady," as she shared the good news and revealed the sparkling ring on her finger.

The singer told fans in November last year she was pregnant via micro-blogging website Twitter.

She wrote: "So our family grows, we are so excited to announce we're having our second baby and Beau's wish for a brother or sister has come true! Xxxxxxx".

The star, who gave birth to son Beau in August 2007, rose to fame as Baby Spice in the chart-topping girl group. The band had nine No 1 singles before splitting up in 2000.

Bunton is also the host of Heart FM Saturday afternoon drive time slot.

R&B singer Jones was previously in boy band Damage before becoming a chef.
