A schoolgirl has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow.

The incident happened on Dunkenny Road, near Drumchapel Park in the city’s north-west, about 6.15pm on Tuesday.

Emergency services attended after reports of a collision between a car and a ten-year-pedestrian.

The girl was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Her condition remains unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.15pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, we received a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Dunkenny Road, Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a ten-year-old girl, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment."
