Police were called to the scene about 4.55pm following reports a vehicle had lost control.

The car was witnessed by officers with a steamed-up window, STV has reported. Reports suggested the man could not see out the windscreen.

The driver was charged after the vehicle was found to have no valid MOT, with the car subsequently uplifted.

Police Scotland said a report on the incident would be sent to the procurator fiscal.
