Elementary museum addition

The 'Sherlock Violin' has been officially added to the Edinburgh University Collection of Historic Musical Instruments, held in the Reid Concert Hall.

Curator Darryl Martin got a closer look at the instrument, created by Edinburgh violin maker Steve Burnett from a tree that grew in the grounds of Arthur Conan Doyle's childhood home.
