Electronic music festival back in town

A FESTIVAL of electronic music is to be held in the Capital for the second year running.

Following the sell-out success of the event in February 2009, Red Dog Music has announced it will once again hold the one-day festival at the Roxy Art House.

The Unique Beats v2.0 festival will take up three floors of the converted church, and will be dedicated to promoting all forms of electronic music-making.

On-stage clinics will be running throughout the day, and there will be a wide range of manufacturers putting on displays and demonstrations, combined with live appearances from more than 30 local, national and international electronic music acts.

Acts confirmed include Anchorsong, Bit Basic, Engine 7, Frog Pocket, LeKtroiD, The Amazing Rolo, Tokyo Knife Attack and more.

The event is being held on 24 April, and more information can be found online at www.unique beats.co.uk.
