Elderly driver dies after one-car crash

AN ELDERLY driver has died in a one-vehicle crash on a rural road.

The accident happened yesterday on the A81 between Ballat crossroads and Blane Smithy roundabout in Stirling. The road was closed for around an hour.

No further information will be issued until the 69-year-old’s family have been told.
