Egypt requests the return of Nefertiti

Egypt's top archaeologist, Zahi Hawass, has formally requested the return of the 3,300-year-old bust of Queen Nefertiti from Berlin's Neues Museum.

The bust dates back to the 14th century BC and tops a wish list of artefacts held abroad that Mr Hawass wants to see returned to Egypt.
