Edinburgh police man injured during armed struggle
A policeman and another man have been taken to hospital following an armed struggle in Edinburgh city centre.
The man was tasered by police after wielding a knife at officers on the Mound shortly after 5pm.
He was taken to the Royal Infirmary where he is being held in police custody.
A police officer is also being treated in hospital for a shoulder injury received during the incident. Princes Street was closed westbound for some time.
