Edinburgh drums up Sudan support

A DRUMMING demonstration to raise the profile of the situation in Sudan was set to take place in the city today.

Sudan 365: A Beat for Peace was taking place in 15 cities with support from famous drummers, including Glasgow-based Snow Patrol's Jonny Quinn.

It was due to take place from 11am-2pm at St John's Church on the corner of Princes Street and Lothian Road.
