Edinburgh creatice agency launches Chrimojis pack

An Edinburgh-based creative agency has got into the festive spirit by launching a free range of Christmas-themed emojis - which it has dubbed '˜Chrimojis'.

Staff at Whitespace came up with the characters - including pigs wrapped in blankets - as a fun way of communicating via smartphone this December.

The recent development of the IOS 10 operating system for iPhones has seen so-called sticker packs flourish.

Sticker packs allow users to make their own emojis to send to friends and family, in addition to the familiar emojis sent in WhatsApp messages and texts millions of times each day around the world.

“The standard emoji keyboard is full of fun characters that we use everyday,” a Whitespace spokesman said.

“Except when it comes to Christmas - all we have is a santa, a Christmas tree and a present.

“So we thought it was high time someone brought out a pack that has a much more accurate way of sharing our classic Christmas experience.”

The stickers can be downloaded for IOS 10 for free from the usual app stores.
