Flights were grounded from 6PM on Thursday evening until the early hours of Friday, with the airport operating at around 31 per cent frequency.
However, bosses have announced that the final departure today will be at 20:50.
Both easyJet and Ryanair have cancelled operations for today, though it is expected airlines will run full schedule on Saturday.
Airport chiefs reminded passengers not to travel if their flight has been cancelled.
A statement read: “Today remains challenging and there will be disruption. We understand that the fluidity of the situation can be frustrating and we thank passengers for their ongoing patience and support.”
“Passengers can visit our website for a list of cancellations throughout the day.
“Yellow weather warnings remain in place and the safety of our passengers and our staff is our priority. We ask people to make safe decisions regarding their travel.”
