Eating sushi off a model 'un-PC'

South Africa's governing party yesterday pronounced the act of eating sushi off a model in a bikini as politically incorrect.

The question has raged in South African media following reports of the practice at parties of wealthy businessmen and socialites. Johannesburg newspapers yesterday reported that the head of the African National Congress' powerful youth league, Julius Malema, had attended such a party over the weekend.

The ANC statement said: "This act is defamatory, insensitive and undermining of a woman's integrity."
