Duo scarred by knife yob

A MAN scarred two people for life in a vicious knife attack, a court heard.

Alexander Moore pleaded guilty to two indictment charges of assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday.

The 18-year-old from Livingston admitted slashing both victims with a knife at Broom Walk, in the town's Craigshill area, on July 31, 2010.

Sheriff Graham Johnston said he was deferring sentence for social inquiry and community service reports. He lifted the home curfew so Moore could co-operate with social workers.
