Dundee police seize heroin worth £50,000

OFFICERS from Police Scotland recovered heroin with an estimated street value of £50,000 during an operation at Camperdown Retail Park in Dundee last night.

A force spokesman said: “A 23 year-old Dundee woman was arrested and subsequently charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the woman is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today.”

He added: “Anyone with information in respect of drug dealing or drugs issues in their area, or in relation to serious and organised crime should contact Police Scotland on 101, or speak to any officer. Information can also be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
