Dundee city centre search for missing schoolboy

THE Tayside Division of Police Scotland has launched a search for a 13 year-old schoolboy who has been reported missing in Dundee city centre.

The force today appealed for information to help trace the whereabouts of the teenager, Arome Obera, who was last seen at 4pm on Monday at the Central Library in Dundee’s Wellgate Centre.

Arome is described as being 5ft tall, of slim build with short black hair. A force spokesman said: “He is Afro Caribbean and has brown eyes. When last seen Arome was wearing a green-coloured jacket and a Harris Academy school uniform - navy blue jumper, white shirt, burgundy tie, black trousers, and black shoes - and was carrying a red back pack. Anyone who knows where Arome is or who has information that could assist Tayside Division in tracing him should call 101 or speak to any police officer.”
