Dundee: Appeal after theft of equipment worth £65k

POLICE Scotland have launched an investigation after £65,000 worth of tools and diagnostic equipment was stolen from a garage workshop in Dundee.

The equipment was stolen between last Thursday night and Friday morning during a break-in at the MOT Service and Repair Centre’s garage in the city’s Kirk Street.

A force spokesman said: “Police in Dundee are appealing for information after £65,000 worth of tools and diagnostic equipment was stolen from a workshop in Kirk Street. Sometime between 7.30pm on Thursday and 7.45am on Friday, thieves broke into the garage premises and made off with diagnostic equipment, five laptop computers, four tablets, a heater and tools.

“Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Police Scotland Tayside Division on 101, or any police officer.”
