The Staffordshire bull terrier cross was found malnourished in the box near Braid Hills Golf Course at the end of October.
She was discovered by a member of public who reported the incident.

Hide AdThe Scottish SPCA believed the dog, called Roe, could have been stolen for breeding and then abandoned.
She has now been re-homed and re-named Rosie.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish SPCA said Rosie had recently paid the charity a visit, adding: "If there was ever a perfect example of how wonderful Staffies can be, it's Rosie."
