Drunken Hibs fans detained

HALF a dozen Hibs fans were detained in drink-related incidents in Slovenia last night.

Six supporters were arrested prior to their team's Europa League qualifier against NK Maribor but were later released with fixed penalty notices.

It is understood that none of the incidents were violence- related.

On the pitch Hibs endured a disappointing 3-0 away defeat in the first tie, with the return leg at Easter Road taking place next Thursday.
