Drunk driver vows to swap car for the bus

A MOTORIST who flouted drink-driving laws while he was banned from the road has promised never to drive again.

Robert McMahon, 61, told a court he had given up driving for good and pledged to use his bus pass from now on.

His lawyer said it would be difficult for McMahon to get behind the wheel of his car because police had crushed it.
