Drunk driver gets 3-year ban

A DRINK-DRIVER had to be helped out of the driving seat by police, a court has heard.

Gediminas Ivanovas, 21, was stopped because he was travelling at 10mph in the snow with his hazard lights flashing.

Paul Beaton, prosecuting, said police found he was heavily under the influence of alcohol. A breath test showed the accused was nearly three-and-a-half times over the legal limit.
