Drunk driver crashed in ‘Evel Knievel’ road stunt
Would-be daredevil Krystian Sawicki performed a series of noisy handbrake turns – repeatedly sending his car flying across the roadway in Bathgate, West Lothian.
He also accelerated sharply, spinning the wheels, before braking sharply a short distance away.

Sawicki finally came to grief after going round a roundabout the wrong way, spinning out of control and crashing. He was seen running away from the silver Nissan Almera Sport as police were alerted to his driving.
Sawicki, 24, changed his plea to guilty to dangerous driving on the day of his trial yesterday.
He also pleaded guilty to being almost twice the old drink drive limit during the bizarre incident on April 20 last year. His breath-alcohol reading was 68 microgrammes when the limit was 35 microgrammes.
Iain Smith, defending, said his client admitted doing wheelspins, handbrake turns and going round a roundabout the wrong way. The Polish national, who lives in Whitburn, West Lothian, had sentence deferred for social work reports.
