Drunk causes chaos on M8

A DRUNKEN youth caused chaos by taking a short cut home along Scotland's busiest motorway.Jamie Gray, 20, staggered into the path of cars on the M8 in the early hours of August 14 this year, a court heard yesterday.

Gray, of Calder Crescent, Armadale, West Lothian, earlier pleaded guilty to walking repeatedly on the motorway and placing himself and others at risk of death or serious injury.

He was put on probation for two years and ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work.
