Drug charge pair arrested

POLICE arrested two people in a Tesco store who were charged with drug dealing offences.

A 22-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were arrested at the store in Haddington at about 12.30pm on Tuesday. A police spokesman said that officers attended after a report of a "suspicious incident".

Meanwhile, police were also called to the same Tesco store on Monday when a 29-year-old woman from Dalkeith was arrested and charged with breach of the peace.
