A SCOTS aristocrat who was caught topping the ton on his motorbike has been banned for nine months.

Lord Glamis, 24, heir to the title of the Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, was clocked by police travelling at 102.16mph on the A68 road, close to the Border.

Charged under the name of Sam Patrick Glamis of Glamis Castle near Forfar, he pleaded guilty to the offence at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
