Drivers warned of roadside scam

DRIVERS on the M74 have been warned to beware of a jewellery scam. A man claiming to be Turkish flags down cars on sliproads and asks for money in exchange for fake gold items.

A Strathclyde Police spokesman said: "Do not part with your cash".
