Driver faces drunk charge

A WOMAN has been charged on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at a university campus in the Capital.

The incident took place at Edinburgh Napier’s Craiglockhart Campus at around 9.30am on Tuesday.

A spokeswoman for Lothian and Borders Police said: “A 48-year-old woman was arrested and charged on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at the campus on Colinton Road.

“She was released on an undertaking to appear at a later date.”
