Driver 'drunk at the wheel'

A WOMAN was charged by police for drink-driving by officers in a Lothian town.

The 21-year-old was detained in Kirk Ports in North Berwick, East Lothian on Sunday.

Meanwhile, two men aged 36 and 28 were arrested on 11 May in North Berwick for shoplifting in stores in the town.

On Saturday, a 17-year-old boy was given a fixed penalty notice for a breach of the peace after being caught drinking in public in North Berwick.

And the following day, a 32-year-old woman was issued with a fixed penalty for breaching the town's by-laws for drinking in public.
