Driver death: four charged

FOUR teenagers have been charged with the murder of Edinburgh delivery driver Simon San, police said last night.

Mr San was returning to the takeaway restaurant he ran with his brothers and sisters in Lochend Road South in the Restalrig area of city around 10pm on Wednesday when he was injured in an incident. The 40-year-old, who was Vietnamese, died in hospital the next day.

A police spokesman said four males, two aged 16 and the others aged 14 and 15, were due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
