Dragons' Den for inventors at university

A DRAGONS' Den-style showcase of top inventors is to take place in the Capital.

Some of the top inventions from universities across Scotland and the UK will go on display at Edinburgh University tomorrow.

The Engage Invest Exploit (EIE) event will see inventors given six minutes to present their product to the audience who will the get the chance to ask questions.

Andrew Mitchell, project leader at Informatics Ventures, said: "Edinburgh is in the top tier of UK universities in terms of successfully commercialising our programmes and for EIE 10 we're showcasing some incredibly exciting ventures who are justifiably seeking investment capital up to 2m."
