Double Bill as pair pick up awards from art college

FILM director and writer Bill Forsyth celebrates becoming an Honorary Fellow of Edinburgh College of Art.

The director of acclaimed hits Gregory's Girl and Local Hero picked up the honour at the graduation ceremony yesterday, alongside sculptor and President of the Royal Scottish Academy, Professor Bill Scott.

Edinburgh College of Art principal Ian Howard said: "We are delighted to award these Honorary Fellowships. Both Bills have distinguished records of achievement, albeit in different fields, and both have dedicated time and effort to instructing and inspiring our students."
