Don't pass on chance to reuse unwanted clutter

A RANGE of events are taking place across the Capital to mark Scotland's first-ever Pass it on Day.

The initiative will encourage people to de-clutter their houses and pass on good quality unwanted items that could be used by other people.

The brainchild of the Community Recycling Network for Scotland and Zero Waste Scotland, Pass it on Day, is taking place on Saturday.

Councillor Robert Aldridge, the environment leader, said: "Pass it On Day is a great way to promote reusing items."
