DJ gets on bike for charity

Capital FM breakfast show host Jennie Cook has given her backing to The Stroke Association's inaugural Cycle Forth for Stroke event.

Ms Cook is a keen cyclist and plans to take part in the race on June 12.

The 15-mile ride begins at Hopetoun House with cyclists then heading along the banks of the Forth through South Queensferry and around the Hopetoun and Dalmeny estates. The charity's fundraising manager for Scotland, Karen Hodgins, said: "We're all really excited about the upcoming cycle.

"Whether you ride with friends, family, a group from the office or on your own, every penny you raise will make a difference."
