Disabled radio station drive

A CAMPAIGN has been launched in the Lothians to secure a radio station for disabled people.

Local resource Able Scotland, which broadcasts some online shows, wants to create a full-time station which would reach out to hundreds of thousands of Scots.

The organisation described it as “much needed” and said it would have a ready-made uptake of listeners, and has urged supporters to back the appeal on social networking site Facebook in a bid to boost its online profile.
