Disabled man in crash with fire engine

A FIRE engine on the way to a false alarm was in collision with a car carrying a wheelchair-bound man and his son yesterday.

The Tayside Fire and Rescue engine was on its way to a call at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

The occupants of the car – a wheelchair-bound man and his son – were not injured.
