The firm, founded by managing director Tim Barlow, has been shortlisted for honours in search, display and shopping performance and is one of only ten companies across the whole Europe, Middle East and Africa region to be put forward for the “outstanding premier partner performance” award.

Barlow said it was “unbelievable” that the agency, founded in 2003, had been shortlisted for the top award, the winner of which will be announced in Dublin on 5 December.

He added: “We are so proud to represent Scotland and to be one of few agencies across the UK and Europe to be considering by Google for these awards. It’s a real tribute to the hard work of the team and the great clients we work with and shows how far Scotland punches above its weight when it comes to digital marketing.”

Attacat was shortlisted for the display and shopping performance categories following its campaigns for nursery retailer Precious Little Ones, and was selected for the search award on the back of its work for luxury safari travel operator Mahlatini.

Last year, the agency was the only one of its kind in Scotland to be chosen by Google to take part in its flagship business coaching programme.
