Dick Cheney charged over alleged bribery

Nigeria's anti-corruption agency has filed charges against former US vice-president Dick Cheney and the head of oil services firm Halliburton over an alleged scheme to bribe the country's officials.

A total of 16 charges have been filed at a federal high court in Abuja against Mr Cheney, Halliburton chief executive David Lesar and two other executives, in a case dating back to the mid-1990s.
