Diabetic OAP safe and well

A DIABETIC pensioner who went missing from his home on Saturday has been traced.

William Falconer, 73, left his home on Edinburgh's Drum Avenue at around 11.30 on Saturday morning and his car was then seen in Sunderland at around 4pm. The vehicle was later traced to North Yorkshire before finally being spotted in Bradford at 6.30pm.

Police said the disappearance was out of character, and concerns were raised as he failed to take his medication with him.

However, police said he contacted family yesterday and they have now been reunited.
