Dewar's girl out of coma

THE daughter of former Edinburgh Airport boss Gordon Dewar has emerged from a coma as she continues to recover after being knocked over by a car.

Olivia Dewar, 17, has woken up following the incident in Bahrain, where her father had moved to take up a new role. But she still doesn't recognise family members because of heavy sedation, it has been reported.

The city schoolgirl was left in a critical condition after being run down in the village of Saar just before she was due to fly home for Christmas.
