Developer gets to build

A DEVELOPER is set to build three houses near an East Lothian village after the plans were given the green light by council chiefs.

Mr A Johnston put forward proposals to create the trio of two-storey terraced homes on land at Seton Mains, near Longniddry, after demolishing a home on the site.

The plans for the development, submitted in February 2009, were given approval by council chiefs at a recent meeting.
