Design firm up for award

CAPITAL-based design company Whitespace has been nominated for an award in the craft category for the 2011 Scottish Design awards.

Its cover of the Fringe festival programme and design of the Scottish Malt Whisky Society entrance door were both nominated under the design crafts category.

The winners will be announced on May 19 at the Scottish Design Awards ceremony at Glasgow's Thistle Hotel.
