Depression charity seeks funding boost

A CHARITY threatened with closure which helps Lothians women beat depression has met the country's Health Secretary.

Pink Ladies, which has a massive waiting list in Midlothian, needs to secure additional funding if it is to continue running into next year.

Three volunteer women who run the organisation met Nicola Sturgeon and other officials from the Long-Term Conditions Alliance. They were sharing tips on self- management of depression, and are hopeful the group made enough of an impression to both raise awareness and secure extra cash."
