Police Scotland encourage more women to join force through online recruitment drive
The event aimed at women will take place this Wednesday, April 9 from 6.30pm over Microsoft teams and aims to tackle under-representation of women in the police.
It will focus on providing members of the public an insight into the role of a police officer and a special constable within Police Scotland.

Hide AdPolice Scotland said the event will last for around an hour and a half and members of the public will learn about the recruitment process, the training involved and the opportunities on offer.
In a post addressing women, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Women are currently under-represented in the Police and it is hoped this event will inspire you to consider a career in policing.”
