Death of man in Peterhead being treated as unexplained

GRAMPIAN Police are treating the death of a man whose body was discovered in the Buchan town of Peterhead as “unexplained.”

The force launched an investigation in the early hours of the morning after Grampian Police officers and an ambulance crew were called to an address in the town’s Longate following reports of a man being seriously injured.

A spokeswoman for the force said: “Grampian Police can confirm that about 2.35 am this morning hey attended an address in Longate, Peterhead, regarding the death of a man. Enquiries are at an early stage and the death is meantime being treated as unexplained.”
