Death crash driver named

A MOTORIST killed after his vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with another car on the city bypass has been named by police.

Keith Miller, 36, from Penicuik in Midlothian, was driving alone when his blue Skoda collided with another vehicle about half a mile west of the Sheriffhall roundabout at around 1.15am on Sunday.

Mr Miller and the driver of the other vehicle, who was also travelling alone, both died from their injuries.

One of the vehicles involved in the crash had been travelling on the wrong side of the road at the time. Police are still trying to determine which vehicle was heading in the wrong direction and today appealed for witnesses to come forward.
