Dead man's family found

POLICE have managed to trace two relatives of a man who was found dead in South Queensferry.

Richard John Hinch was pronounced dead after being found on Thursday.

There are no suspicious circumstances and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.

The 46-year-old is believed to have grown up in the Carrick Knowe area and lived with his mother until she was taken into care in 2005 and died in 2008.

It is thought he may have several sisters who he is no longer in contact with.

Police launched an appeal on Friday to find family members of Mr Hinch and quickly managed to trace a pair of relatives.

It is understood they are now assisting police following Mr Hinch's death.
