Day to reclaim stolen goods

POLICE are holding a “viewing day” for victims of theft to reclaim their belongings after a man was arrested and charged.

Various items had been stolen from sheds, garages and vehicles across Dunbar over the past few months.

Officers said many items had been returned to the rightful owners, but that they were still working to identify others.

The 23-year-old man was due to appear at Haddington Sheriff Court this week.

The viewing day takes place on Wednesday at the Hallhill Centre in Dunbar, with any resident of the East Lothian town who has been robbed invited.
